Do I need to know how to draw to take this course? My handwriting is awful.
Ideal for intermediate hand letterers, but if you're a newbie & you're not shy to try & eager to learn, a beginner (with moxi) can take these styles on like a pro. No drawing experience is needed, but a heart for art & a desire to learn is encouraged.
What supplies do I need to get started?
Monoline pens with varying weights or a sylus if you’re choosing to go digital with this course. PS… A monoline pen is one that produces lines of constant thickness regardless of how hard you press down.
How long do I have access to the course?
Upon purchase, you’ll have lifetime access. The course is self-paced & done on your timeline. If there are any updates to this course or it grows in size, you’ll have access to the updated content.
Is this course beginner-friendly?
This course is for the creative hustler, wherever they fall on the artistic spectrum. If you're a newbie & you're not shy to try & you’re eager to learn, a beginner (with moxi) can take these styles on like a pro.
Will I need an iPad or special software?
No iPad is needed unless you're taking this course digitally. The entire course will be demonstrated using 100% pen, paper & imagination.
What makes this course different from your lettering kits or books?
You’ve purchased my paper lettering guides (kits) in the past & you've desired a course where you could watch me create so you can follow along. I've never done anything like this outside of “live” courses. I've never created a book with the doodler in mind & doodlers, by nature, are visual learners, so I went all-in & created something for you to follow along & create alongside me.
Do I need your new lettering guide to take the course?
This workbook comes with an alphabet for each lettering style, blank pages & a pattern library. You do not need my lettering guide, but it would be helpful as it will help guide you with practice pages, allowing you to practice & play while the video isn't on & in front of you.
